Royal Hawaiian Golf Club is a gorgeous course in the heart of the jungle. Keep an eye out for dinosaurs! It has a slope rating of 138 from the back tees and is 6609 yards long. Royal Hawaiian received the following scores:
Playability 3/5
– Royal Hawaiian will be frustrating for most mid-handicappers because you won’t easily find your ball if it touches the jungle. If you do find your ball it won’t be playable. The scenery will tempt you to make every swing heroic but focus on keeping your ball in play to save a few strokes.
Value 5/5
– At $75 for 18 with carts this course is unbeatable for value. Even though our price was steeply discounted the value score would remain the same at double the price. After all, there aren’t many courses where you have a chance of seeing dinosaurs.
Travel Score 5/5
– Royal Hawaiian would be an excellent course to anchor your golf trip around. Whether it’s just a part of your trip or the highlight of your trip to Oahu, Royal Hawaiian is worth planning a vacation to go play!
