In this video, we’ll continue our restoration of the 2004 Mizuno MP-32s by reconditioning the club face using a handheld media blaster. Here I’ll show you how to mask and prepare the club for blasting and the condition after we’re done. I’m using a small compressor with 90psi. Ideally, you’d want a larger compressor and higher pressure, but this works for our application.
In hindsight, I would have done this step prior to plating a forged club. But this can be done anytime on a cast club face to get great results.
