Cobra’s new KING PUR wedges were designed to give players the spin they need to better control their golf ball around the green and on full shots from 125 yards and in. To accomplish that goal Cobra used a raw stainless steel finish as opposed to using chrome plating which allows for larger grooves and maximum spin. Additionally the clubface and grooves are CNC milled for improved consistency and progressive spin technology delivers optimal spin based on loft. PUR wedges are also available in three unique grinds to accommodate all swing shapes as well as varying turf and sand conditions. The Versatile Grind has a softened leading edge along with heel and toe relief. It will work well for players with neutral and shallow angles of attack and from medium and firm turf and sand conditions. The WideLow Grind has a wider sole and low bounce that was designed for players with steeper angles of attack and for use from softer turf and sand conditions. And finally the Classic Grind has a thinner sole and more bounce and will work well for a wide variety of players and from all turf and sand conditions. KING PUR wedges are available in lofts ranging from 50-60 degrees and they come standard with True Temper Dynamic Gold S200 shafts and Lamkin Crossline grips.
