Skipping a Golf Ball Across a Lake with a Cannon

I shot a golf ball across the lake out of my cannon. It skipped 8 times. It traveled 2200 feet in 4 seconds or an average of 375 mph. I did not expect it to go that far vs how much powder I put in the cannon. Also, you can see in the very beginning of the video the ball hit the water pretty hard. This put some kind of spin on the ball and it started curving left. Thankfully it also slowed the ball down a lot. I can’t imagine how far it would have went if it didn’t touch the water.
