Road to Stardom: Cantlay and Kraft Square Off in 2011 U.S. Amateur Final

Patrick Cantlay and Kelly Kraft went on to careers on the PGA Tour. But before they hit the professional ranks, they were at the top of the amateur game, and met in the championship match of the 2011 U.S. Amateur at Erin Hills, a rising star in the world of golf courses in its own right.

The United States Golf Association (USGA) conducts many of golf’s most prestigious championships, highlighted by the U.S. Open, the U.S. Women’s Open and the world’s premier amateur championships. Based in Liberty Corner, N.J., the USGA governs the game in the U.S., its territories and Mexico.
