Disc Golf Field Practice Father and Son and Friend 3-7-21

The only snow left is just small patches on north-facing slopes. Spring is essentially here, and we’re getting out to throw almost every day. I live for it.

What we have here are putter tosses from 200′, some 250′ tosses, and then back to the 200′ spot for a side view, where it’s very apparent my spawn is a heck of a lot better at this game than I am. His buddy joins in the fun too!

While I’m pleased with my little progress I’ve made in the last year, and I should compete fine in my old man MA-40+ division, I’m really blown away with how easily my 11-year-old has learned how to throw a drive essentially on his own. Add adult muscle mass to that throwing form of his and he’s going to go places with this game I never could.

We’re neck and neck for driving distance now. I’m still getting him with the short game, but it won’t be long and he’ll beat me in a round. Maybe even this year.
