Kellergolfer Course Vlog // Bernardus Golf, Netherlands

#howiplaythecourse from Bernardus, the quite new course built by Kyle Phillips. The whole setup features some amazing facilites, not only a spectacular architecture of the clubhouse, but extremely well maintained practise facilities. No surprise we ran into Joost Luiten on the chipping green. The driving range is an event itself as you see during my intro, I’ve never seen somthing like this.

The course itself might need some more time for growing the surroundings (as of 2020), as the extreme heat of the last summers have not done the rough well. But you need to keep in mind that due to environmental protaction reasons, the rough is not irrigated or artificially watered at all, so that seems acceptable to me. Fairways and greens are already immaculate and can be really fast so whatch our while you enjoy your round. Nevertheless it will host the KLM-Open 2021, ’22 and ’23.

One thing worth noticing – and something I really like: the local rules say: “Play the tee that makes you the happiest!” 🙂 This means Bernardus has actually 6 (!) tee-boxes and they are not labelled men’s or ladies’s or junior’s, but according to the total distance! So I played the Par72 with “64” (64440m), but you can choose also “68”, “60”, “56”, “52” or “47” – and I think this is just great!

So I hope you enjoy my coursevlog once again, please leave a comment and a like – and of course, please sub!
