Is the Azalea Disc Golf Course the easiest in Florida? Watch this course walkthrough to find out!

The Azalea Disc Golf Course in St Petersburg Florida is one of the best beginner courses you can play in the Tampa Bay Area. The rough is non existent, you can’t lose a disc here and the worst that can happen is you scratch up a limited edition disc signed by Paul McBeth if you throw into the roadway.

This is a 9 hole course that you can play through twice to make a full 18. The layout includes two basket positions A or B. All the holes are Par 3’s. You will not find a hole out there much further than 300 feet which makes it very beginner friendly. With enough practice you will begin to birdie many of these holes. I’m hoping for an ace out here very soon! This course would not be much of a challenge for someone like Paul McBeth or Ricky Wysocki but for a beginner like myself it is a wonderful course I continue to come back to play.

The course is always manicured and the up keep is top notch. They change the basket positions from time too time to keep it interesting.

The Azalea Disc Golf course is located at 1600 72nd St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33713.

There are bathrooms across the street by the basketball courts that are open during business hours. There is plenty of parking. Put on sunscreen and bring a hat to protect you from the Florida sunshine.
