DJI Mini 2 Do it yourself drone air drop, cargo release, payload drop system for golf balls, eggs, water balloons ETC
(NOTE) I used a golf ball for this demonstration, I could have used an egg that I had with me, but didn’t want to clean up any mess. Also when the gimbal is looking straight down you still have a clear target sight. Imagine flying several miles to deliver a message?
Make your own payload drop mechanism out of simple materials. And remember to fly with the object in normal or cinematic mode, then switch to sport mode when your at the target zone and hit the brakes to release the thing.
