We Turned ICE FISHING Holes Into a GOLF COURSE!! | 5 Holes Each a Different Rule

What are golfers to do when the weather is too cold for a normal 18? Well, if the lakes are frozen over you go find some auger holes that were drilled by ice fishers and hit golf balls into them! That’s what Chuck and I did. We made up a few holes as we went and did some curling, foot golf, and billiards style holes to mix things up. It was a lot of fun. 10/10, would recommend!!

This is Pactola lake just a few minutes west of Rapid City, South Dakota. It was gorgeous during the summer and is still gorgeous during the winter! The ice was pretty thick the whole way through the lake, about 5″-6″. We found some auger holes that some winter fishermen had drilled previously and decided to roll in some balls into them! It was a lot of fun out on the ice. Don’t worry! We did not leave any golf balls in the water. We only use foam balls out there so they floated.
