Session Description
This session will be broken into two parts. In Part A, attendees will learn more about all the 2021 changes for Net Generation PlayTracker (10U), Junior Team Tennis and 12-18 Junior Competition and the ITF World Tennis Number (WTN). In Part B, USTA Eastern’s officials committee will host a round of virtual trivia to help participants better understand frequently-used rules and regulations.
Speakers
Heather Hawkes started her relationship with USTA 15 years ago, when she began work as a member of the TennisLink support team at the Active Network. Throughout her time with Active, Heather worked as supervisor for the Linkteam and Product Manager for Junior Team Tennis and Adults Leagues, where she became familiar with NTRP ratings. NTRP and work with the National Oversight Group and USTA continued to be a primary focus for several years. Four years ago, Heather was invited to join the team at USTA National as Manager of TennisLink and Ratings. Today she is Senior Manager of Ratings, where she is focused on the delivery of the new Ranking system, USTA Ratings strategy, and WTN.
