"If you're not training in the GAA, you're nobody" | Luke Keaney | GAA burnout | OTB AM

Luke Keaney joined OTB AM to discuss the hip injury which ended his football career. We explore what happens when a young gaelic footballer experiences a serious injury and faces mounting medical costs – and ask what can be done to minimise the risks facing elite athletes in the GAA.

The GPA GAA former players medical and surgical intervention fund is one where the GPA submits applications to the GAA on a player’s behalf. The purpose of the fund is to assist former senior inter-county players who may require medical or surgical intervention arising from their involvement with their County team. If you are a former player and in need of assistance contact the GPA.
