At last week’s Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions, professional golfer Cheyenne Woods was not striking balls with clubs, but rather carrying them. The niece of famed golfer Tiger Woods was caddying for her boyfriend, New York Yankees center outfielder Aaron Hicks.
The two first met last January, during her “Birdies Not BS” podcast and have been dating since last spring. Apparently they get along pretty well, golfing together, sharing tips and even caddying for one another.
The Tournament of Champions (TOC) was held Jan 21–24 at Tranquilo Golf Club and played on the Kapalua Plantation Course.
As Tiger Woods’s niece, Cheyenne is a popularized player and gains a lot of attention wherever she goes. So, it’s not certain how much attention was actually on her boyfriend Hicks who was competing in the celebrity division. Asked if he can keep up with Woods, Hicks deferred to her, saying, said, “No, not when she wants to turn it on.’’
