PP360 Disc Golf Putting Practice Jan 10, 2021 – New Personal Best!

I am continuing to work especially on my straddle putting this winter, in addition to really nailing down muscle memory on my standard putting (with a foot in front and behind me). Of the ten putts at each distance in PP360, I’m doing the first five normally and the second five with that straddle stance.

First five (staggered stance) are with max weight XT Aviars.
Second five (straddle stance) are with max weight Prime Burst Deputies.

Here I had one 30′ straddle putt to make at the end for my new personal best. 252 is my score to beat.

It’s coming along great thanks to PP360. I’m better at getting “pop” on the spin of the putter while bringing my hand up the pole and keeping my balance. I’m still going to prefer a regular stance (so I can rock back and forth), but it’ll be nice next season to have a lot more confidence in the straddle stance when I’m inevitably confronted with having to use it (when vegetation/obstacles force it).

I’ll be concentrating hard on putting for probably the next six weeks or so. Near the end of February or so, if the snow is gone, I’ll consider it time for “spring training” and get outside to work on throwing drives again. I’m thinking a month should get me tournament ready.
