Wilson D7 iron restoration
Here’s a simple tutorial on how to polish golf clubs to a high-gloss shine using an inexpensive bench grinder and a few polishing compounds.
Tools used:
– 6 inch bench grinder
– Stitched denim wheel
– Loose cotton wheel
– Black emery compound
– Brown Tripoli compound
– White compound
– Green compound
Use alternating directions for each compound to create highly reflective surface.
Total elapsed time is around 10 min per club for an off-the-shelf, brand new look.
