No matter how good a putter looks or feels after it has been custom fit, the benefits of the custom fitting can soon disappear if you don’t show that putter some love. Most golfers damage their putters without even hitting a single putt. Most golfers destroy their putters while waiting for others to hit putts. Or when slamming their putter after missing a putt. Or when picking the ball out of the cup using the back of the putter. This is when golfers lean on their putters, which changes the shaft angle, the lie and loft of the putter, etc. Show the putter some love. Treat it with respect. You will likely hole more putts!
