Adjust Your Driver Lie Angle For a Better Ball Flight – Lake Las Vegas

– Brendan over here at HPGI [High Performance Golf Institute] talking about drivers today.

You ever got a driver or picked up a driver and wondered what the adjustments do, or you ever hit a driver in the store feels great, but when you get out and the course just doesn’t work for you.

So we’re wondering today, is it the driver? Is it you? Is it the adjustments? So I’m going to hit one here and then we’re going to make some adjustments, see what they do.

So you can see there, hit that one pretty good. We’ll go over here. I’m going to make an adjustment to it. Then we’ll go back and look at the numbers. So I’ve made adjustments now, let’s see what it does to the performance of this driver.

So now we’re going to bring up the numbers here using TrackMan.

We’re actually going to see with that first shot, you can see it leaked out a little bit over here to the right. You can see where it ended up. You can see where it actually spun a little bit too much. That was just from the changing of the loft and that actual face angle. So you can see where that still carried out at 269, not too bad at all. But let’s see what a small adjustment makes.

With the second one with that small adjustment I made to the lie angle and the face angle it’s changed where that ball comes off in terms of we’ve got a better spin loft come off, lower spin rate, and we’ve picked up almost 10 yards. That’s just a simple driver adjustment. So if you’d like to have your driver adjusted, give us a call.
