Chicago’s Merit Club is a fantastic course located in Libertyville, IL about a 45 minute drive NNW from downtown Chicago. Watch as I (a 10 handicap) manage the course alongside a couple of single digit handicaps Brendan and Zach on this magnificent open prairie style course.
Merit Club opened in 1992 and quickly hosted the 2000 US Women’s Open which was won by Karrie Webb – the course played very difficult with the winning score over par.
Merit Club is characterized by fast conditions, contoured fairways, prairie grass, and overall amazing manicuring resulting in a top-tier playing experience.
