Fit Sit: Feldenkrais in a chair bending and twisting the spine

This is the 7th lesson in my Fit Sit Feldenkrais in a Chair series and explores some fantastic movements to awaken up our awareness and control of the ribs and spine. My advice would be to view the video once so that you can get a general overview of the lesson and then when you come to do the movements go slowly, attentively and never move into the pain. I hope you enjoy the lesson as much as my students and I did. Its so nice to discover movements that turn sitting in a chair into opportunities to actually improve your movement. Please do, if you have the time, let me know how you get on in the comments section. Stewart

The lesson is based on AY 148 “Twisting and Bending the spine sitting on a chair’. I thank you Moshe Feldenkrais for your contribution to our understanding of human movement and how to help us to achieve our full potential.
