Lateral Bounds With A Stick | Golf Fitness Coach

This exercise builds balance and stability in the lower body, as well as explosive power in the legs. Get down into a golf posture and perform a lateral jump or bounding maneuver from your right leg to your left leg. Try to stick the landing and hold your balance on your left leg. From this single leg balance posture your body has to press off the supported leg to initiate proper lateral weight transfer compatible with the lateral weight shift of the golf swing.
