I am super skeptical of golf training aids and have found a lot of them to pretty gimmicky that typically over promise and under deliver, but when I kept hearing about this “Perfect Putting Matt” I had to see it for myself.

The Perfect Putting Matt is one of the honest products on the golf market at this time and is endorsed by PGA Tour professional, Dustin Johnson. It is made of a high quality velvet material, comes with a wooden track that feeds the ball back to you, two golf holes (one normal size and one small one) a ramp to assure hitting flush putts, and alignment lines.

The Perfect Putting Matt is not a cheap product which may come as a concern to some. The standard Matt is $169 dollars and the XL Matt is $200. The price tag pays for itself though as golfers will see immediate improvement in their putting games that translates to the golf course.

I was recently able to put my putting skills to the test and saw immediate results. I didn’t miss a putt inside of 3 feet, made a lot more high pressure putts, and put lag putts a lot closer to the hole. Of the three rounds I played, 2 of them were some of the best I had played all year and the other was saved from being disastrous, largely thanks to my putting.
