Santa’s Top 6 Tips to Help Speed Up Play
1. Be Aware When It Is Your Turn to Play.
2. Let Others Know When It Is Their Turn to Play.
3. Walk and Talk – If you want to have a conversation, do it whilst you are walking down the fairway or towards the green. Not at the tee, not huddled together in the fairway when someone should be hitting.
4. Don’t Waste Time of the Green – Be At Your Ball and Ready to Play. Don’t Wait Until Someone Hits Their Shot to Go to Your Ball (unless you are on their line of play).
5. Practice Swings Waste Time – If you want to have a practice swing, do so when it isn’t your turn to play. Pro Tip – they don’t help your score.
6. Play a Provisional Ball if Your Ball Could be Lost Outside a Penalty Area and/or Out of Bounds.
