Wilson announced the new Staff Model and Staff Model R balls in November 2020 and expand their range of golf balls in the market with the addition of these 2 tour level premium 4 piece construction balls which feature a urethane cover.
After extension research Wilson identified inconsistencies within golf balls relating to the finishing paint and the Staff Model R addresses this by providing a golf ball with a raw finish which doesn’t have the final finishing paint layer providing a matt look rather than the shiny, pearly color we normally expect.
