In this episode, I discussed 4 tips that I thank can help in the injury recovery process for athletes:

1) Understand Why You Got Injured – Truly comprehend the circumstances surrounding your injury. If there was nothing you could do about it, then try not to dwell on it. If there was something that you could’ve done to prevent it (prehab) then make sure you include it in your recovery process.

2) Don’t Rush – Taking your time with recovery is the only way your body can have the maximal opportunity to heal itself

3) Take Care of Your Nutrition – The parts of the body that are injured need to heal

4) Take Time Away From Your Sport – It’s important to mentally reset when you’re going through your rehabilitation so taking time to do other things will help you appreciate your sport even more once you’ve fully recovered.
