Disc Golf Scramble at First Colony Aquatic Center

Darren and Adrian join me for the second time in one day, this time for a scramble round at the First Colony Aquatic Center. This is a decently-maintained 10 hole course that has a few issues:

1) While there are trash cans in the park, only 1 is close to the course, next to hole 5 and 6 of the beginner layout.

2) There is little to no relevant signage, and the stones in the ground which indicate where the edge of the tee pads are located, are next to impossible to see without using UDisc to get close.

3) The design of the course is essentially a small and skinny patch of land between the street and the lake. Which means it’s terribly easy to throw a disc into the street or into the lake.

4) This really isn’t a beginner-level course. I would personally avoid it until you have enough accuracy to avoid the water and street hazards to either side.

5) Aside from the obligatory mowing of the lawn that is done, the rest of the course is essentially forgotten. One person who lives nearby could make the difference here, but nobody seems interested.
