Eli Mikal is the youngest professional cricketer in the world. He bowls right arm WRIST leg spin. In 2018 Eli Mikal was nominated for the world’s largest sports award (The Laureus Sports Academy Award) for moment of the month. Eli Mikal is the 1st individual cricketer who has been nominated for the laureus sport award. From more than 100 sports, sportsmen and athletes only four get the chance to be nominated for this award.
Eli Mikal was named “The Shane Warne Junior” by Laureus Sports Academy.
Eli Mikal has unbelievable talent. He has seven different variations in leg spin bowling in which two variations “OULTA” and “Paam” is his own invention, rest of his five variations are
Leg Spin,
WrongUn or Googly,
Top Spin,
Flipper
and Slider.
Since 2018 he is part of a senior state cricket club.
Eli Mikal has been appreciated by the legends of cricket as Shane Warne, Virat Kohli, Sir Michael Vaughan, Kevin Petersen and Michael Clark.
Eli Mikal’s idols are Shane Warne and Virat Kohli. Since March 2018 Shane Warne look after his bowling. In July 2018 Shane Warne talk to Eli Mikal from the home of cricket The Lord’s Cricket Ground England and praised Eli Mikal. Shane Warne motivated Eli Mikal and said “I’ll always keep eye on you”.
In 2020 Eli Mikal was part of Quetta Gladiators Under16 team for Karachi tour where he led the team and proved that “Age is just a number” for him and he can play senior cricket.
In 2020 Eli Mikal became Ambassador of Anti Polio program in Balochistan (Pakistan).
Eli Mikal appeared in more than 6 PCB trials and always been top wicket taker but he has not been selected for any PCB tournament even for Under13 for which he took part twice 2018/2019 and 2019/2020.
Eli Mikal wants to play international cricket for which he practices 3 to 4 hours daily.
In academics Eli Mikal is as good as in cricket. He always been the position holder in his school.
