English is fast becoming the shared language of our global community whether it be in business, economics, education, or even social media. Given this trend and the increased demand for English language learning courses, English teachers the world over are forced to retool their language content and delivery in order to better prepare learners for many environments that often include cross-cultural interactions. This webinar discusses some of the challenges our different cultural and linguistic backgrounds present in spite of a shared language. The webinar then focuses on ways English teachers can raise cultural and linguistic awareness so that students will become more successful English speaking, global citizens.
