People are wearing several layers, beanies, gloves, and long johns under their pants. It is not the usual sight you see when you go to a golf course.
Alex Yano is competing at the end of the year Wine Valley Golf Club Amateur in Walla Walla, Washington. But, he has one advantage over everybody else.
Yano had two major surgeries. Through his recovery process, he learned what hard work was, and he uses this adversity to his advantage.
“Forget about all the B-S that I’ve gone through, we are here now and we are gonna attack this hole or this shot with the same energy I had for my entire recovery process,” Yano said.
