Single Plane Golf Practice – Brace & Brace – (Part 3)

Most golfers don’t understand that there are different types of practice. One type of practice is what I call “reps”. In this type of practice the goal is to repeat the Single Plane Swing to develop consistency. “Reps” practice helps develop to trigger my body’s feelings to develop consistency in my swing mechanics. One of these feelings I call “Brace &. Brace”.

Brace & Brace describes the mechanics of the of the stability inside of the trail leg as it braces into the backswing and then, the stabled (flexed) lead knee braces through impact. The Brace & Brace practice helps me with consistency and the proper sequencing of my swing.

In this video I discuss how Moe and I discussed these types of feelings to help us become more consistent.

The Single Plane golf swing is not a quick fix golf technique. It is a system, beginning at address, that simplifies the most important moment of the golf swing – impact.

Starting at address on two planes where the arms hang straight down at address, the Conventional golf swing is complicated. Because the arms are hanging straight down, a conventional golfer must lift the body into impact creating stress on the back.

This upward movement to accommodate the two planes is unnecessary.

The Single Plane Golf swing simplifies the golf swing by eliminating the need for the upward movement by starting and impacting on the same plane.
