Farthest Flying Disc Golf Distance Driver

The Innova Shryke is quite possibly the farthest flying distance driver in disc golf. Sure the Destroyer is phenomenal, especially if you have a big arm and can turn it over. Yes, indeed, it’s the Boss that holds the world record, but it was a light-weight one with crazy wind. For the average disc golfer in normal conditions, the Shryke is probably the straightest and farthest-flying distance driver in all of disc golf. Paul McBeth made us all want to throw one when he absolutely BOMBED a sidearm Shryke a few years ago in Australia. To everyone watching, it just kept going straight for much longer than it seemingly should have. In this video, filmed by Chris Shotwell, long-time player and Innova Ambassador Chris Brophy tests the newly-made Shryke for the first time. Even though it was filmed a while ago, the Innova Shryke is still the best bet for long straight drives. In Champion plastic, it can be slightly overstable, in Star just perfectly straight and true stable, and in GStar, it is easy to turn over and stays over nicely. For newer players with less than a 350′ drive, try the slightly understable GStar version at around 165g-169g. You’ll probably find the Shryke to be the farthest disc you’ve ever thrown.
