Shooting a Perfect Round in Disc Golf | Tournament Practice Round Course VLog

It’s difficult to think of a better goal or dream in disc golf than the perfect round. To walk through 18 holes and grab 18 birdies would be a remarkable feeling. Unlike Paul McBeth, us mere mortals might believe the perfect round is out of our reach. Instead, I wanted to see if I could use the idea of the perfect round to help me prep for an upcoming tournament.

The tournament takes place on a course that isn’t necessarily a pitch and putt (super short course) but also isn’t a bomber (super long course) either. It’s got short holes, that honestly the birdie potential exists on all of them. In today’s video, I embark on the journey to shoot an 18 birdie round while giving a bit of grace to myself. I’ll be tracking errors to see how many rethrows and reputts it takes to pull of the -18 round at Magnolia Links Disc Golf Course in Gardendale, Alabama.

How many do you think it takes? Let me know in the comments below!! Could you do this at one of your local courses? How many rethrows do you think it would take??

Also during this round, I get the opportunity to do a quick interview with local Tournament Director Extraordinaire, Ben Swam. Ben is a member of Team Dynamic Discs, and one of the leaders over at Team One Time. You can find Ben’s tips at the halfway point of the round.
