Flying is all about making decisions and judgement, unfortunately on this flight I made an error in judgment, with poor decision making that would have lead to a crash. I think if it had been a real emergency, I wouldn’t be focused on the 500ft rule, I would have just picked a field and landed. There were almost too may options but it was a good learning point for me. I hope this has been useful to those that are learning to fly. If anyone can learn from my mistakes, the world is a better place.
