Swing Essentials Golf Lesson: Balance to Power

Need a bit more power in your golf swing? Let our PGA Professional help you in gaining a few extra yards with your all of your clubs. Simply use this simple step drill to maximize your power through impact.

First, set up to the golf ball with your feet together. Then, ensure that the golf ball is lined up off of your trail foot. Then simply make a step back, much like you’re taking your stance with your trail foot. This should now align the golf ball with your lead ear. Simply make a backswing and follow through.

Now, can you do this at one time? Notice how your weight shifts from your back foot to your front foot. How easy is this golf tip?
