Getting out into wet conditions can present a myriad of issues for golfers, especially on the first few holes of the day. Your best friend out of wet rough is a hybrid club.
Using the wider sole, open the face like a bunker shot out of the rough. Grip down the club a bit and open your stance, and play it like you’re in the sand – a three-quarter chop shot to move the ball down the fairway and put yourself back in position.
