On a clear day you can see Catalina in the distance and it looks so close. It looks like you could just paddle on over. I’ve actually done it a couple times (fast guys do it 32 miles in about 5-6hrs).
The cool thing about Catalina is that it is so close but when you are there you feel so far away. Always so much to do and always seems like not enough time. Can’t wait to get back.
