But BDE, JMac and I decided to test it for ourselves. We played nine holes but could only fit in 6 holes because it was a mother to film this video comparing 150 in the fairway off the tee or 250 in the rough. We wanted to see what happened. i had no real hypothesis so we just played and took the results at face value.

There was no coaching from anyone to anyone else. We just tried to get the ball in the hole in as few as possible. The findings were a little surprising. Whatever the outcome, I have no real attachment to it. We tried our best on each shot. What’s Better? 150 straight or 250 in the rough?
