Banded Hip Rotation; Learn to Use Your Hips in Your Golf Swing!

This exercise is useful for learning to engage your hips through your golf swing. When you find your shoulders and hands are getting through the ball before the hips, this is the exercise for you! To perform, find a resistance band and place around your waist. Take a step out to increase the resistance from the band and cross your arms. Crossing your arms will help reduce the need to swing with your upper body and arms. Slowly rotate over your trail leg, then power through with your hips to the top. The goal here is to promote rotational power beginning from your hips.
