Miura has been making the world’s finest forged golf clubs since 1957. Designed and constructed by master craftsman Katsuhiro Miura, each club is individually made using Miura’s patented forging process. To this day, Miura-san continues to work in the factory with his sons, Shinei and Yoshitaka, who proudly carry on the Miura legacy.
In the pursuit to create the perfect iron, Miura-san recognized it was necessary to set a brand new standard of design. Using his quest for perfection as a tool for reinvention, Miura-san implemented distinct principles that after 40 years, still lead the design process today.

✅ Forging
Miura-san believed the manufacturing process of forging irons was fundamentally flawed. So, he changed it. This resulted in a revolutionary new technique that elevated Miura irons to the highest industry standards with the tightest tolerances.
Grinding
✅ The grinding process has many stages, the first being the outline grind. Miura has developed a unique procedure that grinds each model and club head profile with precision. This process ensures there is a consistent look to each individual head which would be difficult to achieve if done by hand.
✅ Polishing
Miura-san believed as much in the form of his irons as he did the function. An eloquently forged iron should have a similarly beautiful finish, which is why equal attention is paid to the final steps of the manufacturing process, polishing, producing a smooth club head without any sharp, harsh edges.
✅ Technical Design
The performance of every iron is determined by features such as weight, size, center of gravity, and bounce, meaning that constructing a consistent and reliable club head is paramount. While time consuming, Miura’s commitment to technical precision is carried throughout the meticulous design process of each golf club that is create.
