3-set Balls of Steel:
Hey everybody, Don Peterson here at the Swing Factory Golf Performance Studio, just north of Atlanta. I wanted to do a product review today and I’ve got a red ball here. I think they call it the ball of steel and available at from Eye Line, but anyway, this is a lead-weighted or steel ball, very heavy and when you put it down on the ground if you put with it feels like you’re hitting a brick, okay it really does it’s really heavy so I’m going to hit a putt here and you know if I hit a regular ball this hard you can see how it rolls and then watch I’m going to hit this one with the same hardness and you can see it barely comes off. So what this is for when you hit the steel ball you’re going to feel it on the face of the club and if you don’t hit it right in the middle of the sweet spot, it’s going to twist the putter head it’s not going to feel solid at all and you’ll have the feeling like you almost have to kind of like everything’s got to be more in sync in order to hit it you won’t want to be trying to move your wrist too much it feels better if you just rock your shoulders and try to hit it right in the middle of the face and if you putt this thing three or four times and they come in instead of three so you just kind of put three of them down there and you put them three times and after you putt it three times if you three or four times and then you take a regular ball and you putt it the same way it comes off like a shot and what it does is it kind of makes you be a little bit more aggressive with your putting and it makes you firm putts and it also helps you find the sweet spot which i think is pretty cool and it’s just a neat little training tool and I think it’s something if we carry one of these in our bag you can throw it on the putting green take a few putts with it kind of get a feeling for where the where the exact sweet spot is on your putter and the feel of it when it hits the head and I think if you can transfer then that that same feeling back to when you’re hitting putts with a regular golf ball it just is just going to feel very stable to you and that’s that we all want in our pudding so I think this is a very good product and I’m going to provide a link here on the video for you to go and find that if you want to try it out yourself and for more product reviews or golf tips come back and see us again at the swing factor Golf studio here on
