Donte DiVincenzo 17 Points Full Highlights (9/8/2020)

That’s it. Season over for the Bucks. Donte DiVincenzo, starting for the injured Giannis, had by far his best game of the playoffs, but his heroic efforts to drag Khris Brickleton and Eric Bricksoe and Brick Lopez and DJ Brickson into a game six were all in vain. Honestly, I’m not too bummed about this one. Going down 0-3 in the series was way more painful than losing a game five with no Giannis. Says the guy who refrained from watching any of the Buck’s games this series in order to protect his fragile psyche.

Also, I was kidding about the “DJ Brickson” thing. I harbor no hard feelings towards DJ Wilson. He’s awesome. He sucks, but he’s awesome. I wish he was better though.

Uncertainty follows the Bucks into the offseason as they obviously fell well short of expectations. What will Giannis do? Will he demand a trade now? Will he demand a trade later? Will he turn down his supermax? Will he retire from the NBA to open a Chicago-style fast food restaurant that specializes in gyros, chicken wings (the big, whole kind), catfish fillets, Italian beef sandwiches, janky cheesesteaks with mayo (?), and nacho cheese fries? It’s all up in the air, and I’m not going to worry about it right now. He does what he does and nothing I do will change his mind, unless he for some reason decides to recognize the extremely small amount of clout that I hold in the NBA sphere. Real recognize real, as they say.

The best part about teams getting knocked out of the playoffs early is that you can start playing the blame game. I love playing the blame game. Nothing is more therapeutic than picking out stuff that seems to be culpable for the bad things that have happened. And in this case, the blame game starts and ends with Eric Bledsoe, who I am totally done with. If Giannis ever again is forced to play with a non-shooting point guard, I’m going to punch that non-shooting point guard on Giannis’ behalf.

One more parting thought before the book is closed on the Bucks’ season: if I see any Khris Middleton slander, any Khris Middleton slander at all, the person doing the slandering will find their YouTube account banned. I’m friends with one of the mods and I can get him to ban people no problem. If you call him “Khris Brickleton”, that counts as slander.
