Couple fun facts:
1. The highlights in the background come from the 1992 NBA Finals, not Chicago’s 1995-96 season in which they won 72 games, as Verne Lundquist attests.
2. If you look closely around the 36-second mark, after being asked whether he played at all, Danny Ainge pops up on the big screen in the background as a member of the Portland Trail Blazers.
3. Cheryl Miller, aka “Reggie Miller’s little sister” according to Lundquist, is actually one year older than Reggie.
4. Ainge and Michael Jordan went golfing together just prior to a 1986 playoff series pitting their teams against one another. After Ainge emerged successful on the golf course, Jordan left him with some parting words. “Hey, tell your boy D.J. (Celtics guard Dennis Johnson) I got something for him tomorrow.” Jordan scored an NBA playoff record 63 points the following day.
