2nd Swing caught up with Titleist Director of Metalwood Development Stephanie Luttrell at the Titleist Performance Institute in Oceanside, California to find out more about the brand new Titleist TS2 and TS3 hybrids. The TS2 hybrid has a slightly larger profile and was created for players who have a shallow angle of attack and like to sweep the ball from the turf, while the TS3 has a more compact footprint and is a great option for golfers who hit down on the ball with a hybrid like they would on an iron shot. Also of note, both the TS2 and TS3 feature clubfaces that are 16 percent thinner than was the case in 818 H1 and 818 H2 to create more ball speed, and they offer about 10 percent higher MOI. The TS3 also features Titleist’s SureFit CG to help players more easily achieve the exact shot shape that they prefer. New Titleist TS2 and TS3 hybrids, will be available for pre-order on August 8.
