In my upcoming tournament, I need to decide when to hit driver off the tee and when to fall back. I wanted to show you how I handle my course management strategy on the golf course with this guide to follow. If you know what your game and dispersion numbers with the driver and the other 2 clubs you normally hit off the tee, then it should be easy to pick a solid course management strategy.
Any of the game tracking apps will give you your dispersion and from there you can use that information to pick when to hit your driver off the tee and when to hit other clubs that will keep you in play.
Course management and golf strategy is really just a game of numbers. Hopefully, this guide helps you understand how you can use my strategy to improve your game.
