Lucy wasn’t sporty at school (came last in the cross-country) and when she was 26, she entered her first ironman after a drunken dare….the rest as they say, is history! As a cancer doctor, Lucy is continually in awe of her patients who don’t have a choice when it comes to suffering and her choice to be able to push herself out of her comfort zone is a privilege.
Famous in the professional triathlon world for her finish line celebrations, X14 Iron distance champion and Oncology Consultant, Lucy is an exceptional triathlete and proof that with the right attitude, focus and mental determination, people can achieve so much more than they think they can.
