TAYLORMADE SPIDER X UP AND DOWN AT FLAMBOUROGH HILLS GOLF COURSE

Cobe Life on the course

Taylormade Spider X up and down at Flambourogh Hills Golf club

In this episode of Cobe Life on the course my Taylormade Spider X takes center stage at the third hole of the Hills course at Flambourogh Hills Golf club. Most of you that follow me know my goal in golf was to become a Bogey Golfer. In other words to average 18 over Par on a golf course. you could even look at it another way, and that’s to break 90 strokes on the scorecard. What many golfers are unaware of is what it actually takes to break 90 on a somewhat consistent basis. According to golf statistics most 18 Handicap golfers only average between 3 and 5 Greens in Regulation per Round. That means in order to break 90 on the majority of full length courses you will need to turn the occasional missed Green into a Par.

If your goal is to become a Bogey golfer you will need to find a way to get Up & Down for Par a few times a Round. That means you need to have a Shoet Game you can trust, and a steady stroke with the Putter. Fortunately for me the Taylormade Spider X transfers so much feel through the face that I’m able to use it on any relatively flat surface. Fairway, fringe, or Green I trust the Taylormade Spider X. I would say that practicing putts from fairways or the fringe is as important as practice on the Green. If you can’t roll putts close from the Fairway with your putter, find a new one. The advantage it gives you is extremely difficult to replace.
