PGA WEST STADIUM Course Vlog 2/2 | BACK 9 | Hole Flyovers & Shot Tracers | PGA TOUR Tees 7,300y!

Today I’m playing where the Pro’s play, the PGA West Stadium Course! This course hosts the PGA TOUR’s The American Express as the annual stop out in La Quinta, CA. This course is an absolute beast, playing to 7,300 yards from the tips! Also according to Golf Digest, the course currently ranks as the 8th most difficult course in the country!

PART 2 OF 2

Can I shoot even par on the back nine and break 80? 🤷🏻‍♂️🤞🏼 Let me know what you think in the comments below!

Pete Dye was asked to build a “West Coast TPC Sawgrass” and this was the result. The finishing stretch mimics the TPC Sawgrass finish, with nothing but trouble awaiting you through the Par 5 16th – San Andreas Fault – with a 30 foot deep bunker, the Par 3 17th – Alcatraz – with its famous island green, and the Par 4 18th – Coliseum – with nothing but water lining the left side! Also interesting to note that famed architect Tom Doak first learned the trade from Pete Dye, and this course was the first big project he worked on!
