Muscle Memory – Myth and Misinformation

Our physical actions are driven by stored motor patterns in the BRAIN for 100’s of different skills. If you repeat a physical movement enough times you WILL create a motor pattern in the brain, even if it is flawed! Trying to then change flawed motor patterns after it has been created is very frustrating and often futile!

Archery Beginners are given a bow and arrow and instructed how to shoot them BEFORE they understand how a Recurve Bow should be drawn. Consequently many spend lifetimes attempting to correct poor motor skills created when they attempted to shoot arrows too soon. The same happens in the golf only with golf balls and the same lifetime problems manifest.

To develop TRUSTED Recurve Archery skills at home – do NOT use a bow. Repeat the entire draw sequence demonstrated for 30 days, 15 min each day.
