Other than making things my biggest hobby is golf, so when the opportunity to combine my two passions came along I jumped at the chance. Little did I know how much work it would be churning out 80 tee markers…but, I feel like the experience was a good one for learning how to be efficient in the shop. The markers I designed are based on the University of Oregon’s iconic O logo and a simple outline of the state of Oregon. I was able to use an X-Carve machine to get the outlines done…something that would have taken me so much longer by hand. I also purchased a Homeright Finish Max HVLP paint sprayer for this project and I’m glad I did…for a cheap sprayer it worked really well. If you’ve read this far…congratulations! You are probably the only one…please leave a comment.
