These positions really put good stress on the hip joint to provide stability and therefore are a great addition for rotational athletes such as golfers, tennis players, baseball and softball athletes, and many other sports. If you were trying to increase your drive length or put more power on your tennis serve this can be a great position to try some of the moves you already use and get a different stimulus from them.
