Introduction To DynAlign Dynamic Soft End Range Pre-Shot Alignment For Putting

The DynAlign dynamic soft end range pre-shot alignment technique can provide a stable slight arc putting stroke with a clubface that remains more square to a path by reducing range of motion in the wrist, elbow, and shoulder joints. Similar to any piece of machinery, individual moving parts are synchronized by reducing their range of motion.

A golfer can benefit from both improved direction control, from the stability of dynamic aiming and a stable stroke, plus better distance control, as the dominant hand can be fully engaged in force regulation.

A player’s dominant hand is the most skilled member for force application, due to a lifetime of tossing, rolling, and throwing balls. A player can draw on that experience for fine distance control in putting.

After a stable arc is created by the pre-shot routine, a putter can be more reliably aimed on a target line with an increased incidence of returning the clubface square to a target line at impact. The clubface is aimed as the final step before the club is put into motion rather than the first step, as is done with static alignment.

The pre-shot routine can take some time to learn but it becomes second nature with repetition. All mechanical thoughts will go away allowing a player to focus on their chosen line and how hard to roll a putt.
